What's Difference Among Anordic Anodization, Hard-Anodized, and Conductive Oxidation?

Aluminium alloys parts can do anordic anodization and hard-coat anodizing as well,  nevertheless they have color difference for specific types of aluminum among 6061-T6, AW2017A and AW7075.

6061-T6 aluminum metal part is better to control on anodize processing no matter color, surface looking with nice performance. However, AW2017A & AW7075 it is aerospace aluminum alloys with high strength material, and chemical positive elements include Zn, Mg which main effects result during anodising, after anodizing surface occurs black dots, and color changed little bit, not good as 6061-T6.

If the material shapes the body of the product, then the surface treatment is the skin of the product, which plays an important role in the appearance of the product. For example, mobile phones, computers, all kinds of consumer electronics, household appliances, their appearance can always bring people a cold, delicate sense of technology.

What's Difference Among Anordic Anodization, Hard-Anodized, and Conductive Oxidation?

The above three oxidation methods all have the effect of natural oxidation, and the differences are:

Anordic anodizing has certain wear resistance and insulation properties, but it is easy to color, and there are many colors to choose from, which is suitable for products with decorative needs.

Hard anodizing has stronger wear resistance, good insulation performance, and the surface plays a hardening role; The color is limited, and it is not suitable for light colors, and it is more suitable for products with functional requirements, such as cylinders, transmissions, military supplies etc.

Conductive oxidation does not have wear resistance, but has better conductivity, does not support dyeing, and is often used in some special electrical and electronic devices, such as semiconductor devices and integrated circuit equipment.

Hanging Point For Anodizing:

The aluminum processing parts removed from the oxidation hanger cannot be oxidized at the position where they are in contact with the oxidation hanger, and the position of the hanging point is usually exposed, and there is even a risk of clipping. Usually decorative workpieces have requirements for the position of the hanger. Therefore, when we design aluminum alloy products that need to be oxidized, it is recommended to use non-functional places as hanging point holes, so as not to destroy the overall sense of the product.

Aluminum Matt & Glossy Anodizing Colour:

Anodizing is also available in matte and glossy finishes. The bright surface has a good reflective effect, high reflectivity, clear and bright light, which can increase the appearance of the product, and is often used in the production of fine products and decorations
